Women in Different Environments

2003 – 2013

As the female forms continue to evolve, the depiction of accurate proportions of the human body ceases to have a primary role and emphasis is given on the composition of volumes and the fluidity of curves that mark this collection.

Women are now depicted in more flamboyant poses and their movements become freer and more dynamic. Realistic representation takes an ever further back seat to the composition of volumes and the harmony of form.

During this period, the creation of different compositions appears. Easily identifiable, everyday objects become the environment in which the female figures are placed. By playing with the scale of these objects, the creations acquire a surreal character.
